Another super start to the week, Terry! Thank you so much for the link to the 'Greenground Map' - it's beautiful.
I enjoyed your exploration of the subject of man hugs. I'm a hugger, but I know plenty of people who aren't, and try my best to remember who is and who isn't. I'm afraid when we met, Terry, I considered you fair game for a hug - but being a girl I guess I don't fit the criteria for a participant in a man hug, so perhaps that's why I got away with it!
Thank you for all the terrific links - I'm enjoying working my way through them. 😊
It felt natural to hug. But then, (a) we are friends, or at least were before you tried to drown me in coffee ☕, and (b) it's men I don't like hugging, especially ones I don't know. Thanks for kind words 😀
Ah, Terry. If newspapers were more like your Start the Week, I might read them again. Always something uplifting, something funny, something useful, something heartfelt! A great way to start the morning and the week. Thanks for your consistency and your spirit.
Thank you for the mention, Terry!! I’m laughing over here. How I wish you would go emote with other blokes, for the story alone. Please please. Reminds me of “cuddle parties” in places like San Francisco, where one can cuddle with strangers. (Though I won’t go to one of those even for the story!)
Beautiful article, splendid gardens: I would give you a hug. Therapy of hugs and crying is very common and welcome in men... after the third pint at least. Regarding football and women, I'm progressively enjoying their play and looks, I'm a bit exhausted of tattooed, spitting 'gentlemen', some bearded, but not very hairy nowadays. I wonder if there are still that people offering hugs in the streets to the pedestrians, for charity. Why is it easier if the character is a giant mouse or whoever pet?

Great roundup, Terry.
Man-hugs are pretty common term of greeting down here.
That's such a cool map of the London parks!
Thanks for the links!
Really? OMG. Thanks, Nathan :-)
Thank you for the plug!

aw shucks. Thanks, Sharron!
Loved all of this! Full range of emotions felt and exercised !
Great! That was the idea! Thanks, Maureen :-)

Cuddle parties? 😲 No, no, and again, no!
Too cringeworthy
My reaction precisely! When I got invited to my first one, it was a clear indication I’m really not made for San Francisco 😅
🤣
😂
Good grief. Emoting? Cuddle parties. There are some things I cannot bring myself to do, even for a potentially good story!
One must draw the line somewhere 😅
Exactly! 🤣
Emma Kok ❤️
Exactly 🙂

"after the third pint at least": 🤣 Thanks, Rafa.
Loved the Emma Kok video. Thanks
She's great, isn't she. Thanks, Beth 🙂
