Love Nasrudin stories and their sometimes mind-bending practical wisdom. And what a lovely picture!

Of course it was persiflage. I didn't even realize that it was you two in the photo. Since I'm not a paid subscriber, is that other story of yours a typo or not? The one about "Discursions". When I first saw it, I thought it might be.

Adorable pic.

That crossword puzzle should not be considered while you have a concussion— or any time really. 😉

Blimey, Terry, your crossword capers have fair given me a headache! Brilliant work!

I love the pic of you and Elaine - how lovely.

Thank you so much for linking to my newsletter - and to 'LEAVES' by Sharron - I absolutely loved her London stories, of which I've just had another read!

I can’t believe I missed the obvious in Q1. I read it and reread it. Sigh. Thankfully others know you much better. Grin.

I adore the photo. A true smile! Somewhat Mona Lisa-ish even. What a lovely couple. 🤗🤗😘

Thanks for another fun read.

That crossword looks like the quickest way to a migraine, if you ask me. I can do the Saturday New York Times puzzle no problem. It's difficult, but doable. Adorable photo, by the way. You both look about 16. Thanks for the mention! Happy Monday to you!

A. Persiflage! Did not imagine Sherlock Holmes in tennis shoes. Very cute picture.

The missing word is of course "Persiflage."

The authentic Victorian vibe of the photo is only slightly diminished by the white Adidas.

I just love the "hard-boiled" version of the story. I think it's my new favorite.
