What a wonderful peek into your home, Terry. I sure would love to see a photo of the stout-hearted woman who accepted your proposal of marriage. She sounds perfect for you -- a matching sense of humor. Tell us the best thing about being married to Elaine. How long have you been married? What a curious photo she took! Looks like a burst seed pod from a sycamore, gum or chestnut tree but those spines look very mean. Thank you, your worshipfulness, for the recognition. I was surprised -- and thrilled to see it. I am so silly, it actually cost me a few tears.

Oh, sorry I made you cry. My writing often has that effect on people. I shall answer your questions soon, Sharron. I did post a photo of Elaine back in November I think. I shall check soon. The photo is an upside down cactus!

I can't wait for the next episode of 'Inside Freedman Towers', Terry!

Thank you for such great links - I shall have great fun exploring. I'm pleased to say that I'm already an avid reader of both 'Leaves' and 'Knots in the String' - I thoroughly enjoy Sharron's and Prue's writing. 😊

Is that a dried-out cactus? Whatever it is, I wouldn't like to step on it without my shoes on!

Yes, a cactus. Well done! Thanks for kind comments, Rebecca. I'm glad you liked the behind the scenes look at how we in the nobility live. 😂

Until this point, Lord Terry, I'd had NO idea how the likes of such people as you and Elaine live your life of nobility. I am grateful for this glimpse through the cut-glass window of your blue-blooded world. 👑

I enjoyed starting my week with a visit to Freedman Towers. I can't wait to see how Terry counters Elaine's persiflage.

Thank you (and Lyle) for the introduction to Alicia Kenworthy, very enjoyable read.

The 50 word story by Sharron Bassano is a good example of her wonderful writing. I'm a big fan!

Regarding that picture: I have no idea what that is, plant or animal but as someone who lives near the edge of the Florida Everglades, I always assume that everything here would like to kill me.

😂 It does look quite forbidding, doesn't it? Tis a cactus, just like wot Rebecca said. 😁
