I enjoyed your video of the King Charles drawings by children exhibit. Beautiful colors! Thank you for sharing that. My 11-year-old daughter and I are visiting London next month (I am excited to be able to say "next month" since it is now June). This will be our first trip to the U.K. and we are looking forward to it.
As for crossword puzzles, I have recently started doing the New York Times version on the NYT app. I will admit that I use "autocheck" and, at times, the internet, and I am okay with that. I can usually tackle "The Mini" version without assistance. ;-) I haven't braved a printed crossword, even with a pencil. I also can't stand the feel of newsprint and the blank ink that transfers to my fingertips, so there's that. I think my brain couldn't survive attempting the puzzles you shared.

Thank you for your latest letter, Terry: I'll resist commenting too deeply at this stage in order to save my most resplendent retorts and ripostes for my reply... 😉
I LOVE the picture of Lord and Lady Freedman at the House of Lords! Do tell: how many of your feline menagerie did you manage to smuggle in in your handbag?
Those crosswords - I might actually rename them 'lividwords' as they've clearly got anger management issues - have given me a headache. THANKS. 🙄
"Lividwords" 🤣 Hang on a sec: that is not MY handbag. We smuggled all of them in, dreaming of our bank balance returning to its original healthy state, but they followed us home
The only situation I can imagine where I would even try to sort out those "puzzles" is if someone offered me two million dollars. Not to solve them, just to ATTEMPT them. (And I have a master's degree, six years in college.) Funny post today, Terry. A bit prickly, but funny.

Yes. Life is hard enough without tackling those head-breakers. I do six word puzzles every morning - a half-hour, but at least I have a chance at success with all of them with out any headaches. Have you tried the Waffle? https://wafflegame.net Great fun and free!
Thanks for the photo! I loved this letter. Don't know how I missed it. By the way, I like your purse. C'est tres chic!
IT'S NOT MINE 😡

Phantastic! I'm sure you will both love London. It's a really vibrant city, with really old buildings juxtaposed with new ones.

Not YOUR handbag... yeah, right. 👀😉

That reminds me of an episode in the post office. I will include it in the next Start the week

Only jokingly prickly, Sharron! I agree about the puzzles, and I also have a masters 😂
