Hilarious: "Neither do I, but do you think it might have something to do with the fact that last week our postman left the sack of mail in the entrance to our block of flats while he popped next door to the Donut Palace for a cup of tea and a cigarette?" You think maybe?? I am sorry no one signed your petition. I can't help thinking had it been Scotland, the petition would have been totally filled in and a second piece of paper tacked up as well to add more names. In California, someone would have torn down the petition and replaced it with an advert for the local marijuana outlet and an obscene drawing.

What a hoot about the Post Office message in the sorting office! The Post Office here has twice lost bills. Those two times I sent them through our mail kiosk at my condo building. Once the postman had a bin near the door where he goes into the kiosk and he told me to just place it in there. One week later, no one had received the bills. Now when I need to send something out, I drive down to the post office and put it in the slot. I don't take any chances anymore.

I like your illustrations. Do you do them using a graphics program or do you do it with pen and then scan them in?

I don't blame you regarding putting them in the PO box yourself. Thanks re illustrations. I use pens and pencils and then scan. But now I have a pen that writes in screen so I might try using that. How do you do yours?

You've given me an idea. From now on, I'll collect all my well-wishers' post items and the week after my birthday and the week after Christmas, I'm going to shoot each of these people a text with a thank you. "Got your card! Loved seeing the good times you had. Hope you enjoyed my card too!" And voila! I'm a caring, reciprocating member of society." Thanks for helping shape my character.

I wonder, do you have any similar tips for the dining out bill?
