Ugh, potholes! We didn't have to deal with as many of them when we lived in Texas but now that we're in Indiana they are all over! Driving in February is an adventure.
I do think it reached the threshold of successful "whingeing" (or is it "whinging"?). Across the pond it's spelled "whining" and sounds like "wine" "ing."
Oh, we certainly whine over here too, Mark, big time, but I’d say that whingeing is more like a sulky mithering, whereas whining is, what, a bit more neutral. Same ballpark, but nuances make all the difference! 😆
Some of us are experts at wine-ing, too. Cheers! 🍷

I wonder why that is. BTW, I mentioned your bad writing post in my 'Start the week#3' post
This made me grin on my morning commute :) looking forward to more exchanges between the two of you
Glad it raised a smile, Oleg 🙂
Enjoyed reading this! That cats eye sign made me lol :-D
Thanks, JM! Hopefully that was just a misunderstanding on my part LOL 🙂
Another great read! I didn't know London got snow. Looks like it might be a rarity according to my Internet searching.

We used to. Things seem to have regained some normality. We can't see our car as it's covered with snow. Will take pics tomorrow
Ps thanks for nice words

Erm, is that a good thing? I've seen both spellings, so not sure I prefer it with an e

I always think of whining as what children do, and whingeing as what adults do: a more mature kind of bellyaching!
Hm, like milky suthering.... Okay, I get it. Sorta a greased smash of "cringe" and "whimper" and "whine."
Lol
Sounds about right! And wow, Mark, I’ve now added ‘greased smash’ to my lexicon - that’s an EPIC expression!
Definitely is
I’m going to enjoy replying to this one, Terry! Such a great read! 😆
Not sure I'M looking forward to it, Rebecca, after my mansplaining!
