How I write

After a hugely complimentary comment2 in Substack’s Office Hours,

Anu Prabhala
asked me some interesting questions. Anu writes the
Imperfectly Perfect
newsletter, which deals with the more spiritual aspects of life from an Indian perspective. As someone who has been meditating for donkeys’ years and has a deep and abiding interest in such things, I find Anu’s posts both interesting and refreshing. Hopeful too in these dark times.

Anyway, Anu asked me some pertinent questions and I thought I’d attempt to answer them here.

As someone who is at times struggling to find tine to post weekly, I was wondering how many hours a day do you dedicate to writing? Do you have pipeline of posts you plan in advance and then publish them at a certain cadence?

Here are my answers, which I hope will prove both interesting and useful.
