That is definitely true, though I have to admit to becoming slightly despondent of late. It seems to take a lot of time and effort to build up a big following. Regarding the recommendation, you are very welcome. I only recommend writers whose work I respect and enjoy.
I know it can feel tough writing without a bigger following, but I found that when I started writing for myself, my work became more authentic and people love to follow authentic.
Your work is very unique and I would just keep doing what your doing. Some advice I got that helped was write as if you have a following of 100,000 -- even if it’s only 10. :-)
