For the young lad who ate beans and toast when he was supposed to be running, I am impressed you chose to ride a bike. :)

I so appreciate a view from the inside on the Jubilee, and am glad it was a fun and wonderful time for you. My best friend is studying in London right now, but was unable to face up to the crowds and missed out on most of the celebrations.

LOL. I've always liked cycling -- will write an article about that soon. Thanks for commenting. I thought people might like a view from the inside, as you put it. We don't like crowds either, and you would never see us in the middle of a crowd like in The Mall, waiting for the Queen to appear on the balcony. But elsewhere the people were good natured and all in all it wasn't too bad.

Yes, cycling is a different reality than running! One is lovely, the other is not :) I enjoyed seeing glimpses of the Jubilee and wish my friend had braved the crowds more. Although I'm sure she was able to enjoy it all in small bits here and there just by going from her rental to her classes.
