Yesterday I was queuing in my local newsagent. In England, a lot of schools were shut because teachers had gone on strike for better pay. This conversation happened in front of me:

Lady customer: I’m not at work today because the school is shut because the teachers are on strike.

Newsagent: Setting a great example to the kids, aren’t they? Teachers striki…
