Golly gosh, Terry - a matinee idol indeed!

Lovely music - bravo, Elaine - really great to hear this. 🎶

I love your posts - they make me laugh, and make me think, too - which is never a bad thing.

I’m looking forward to your course immensely - I got so much out of it when I did it for the first time last year. 😊😁✍️

Glad you enjoyed the post, Becks, and thanks for the nice comment about Elaine’s playing. You realise that there’s a handle on the side of the poiano that her friend is turning, right?

Re: course, I think it will be interesting and enjoyable. I have a few ideas I’m working on. Glad you’re signed up to it! Thanks.

Coincidentally, it's been a monthlong week here, too. I so needed the laughs, am delighted by Elaine, and truly appreciate you sharing my essay, Terry. Thanks!

"monthlong week": I don't think I've heard that expression before; love it! Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for nice copmment about Elaine. I'll tell her :-)

"The 60 Minute Writer" Like the name. The subtitle ought to be, If ya can't learn it in 60 minutes, I can't help ya : )

Terry Freedman's avatar

Lol. I do tell people that the title of the course, which was not chosen by me, refers to the time per lesson per week, NOT to the time it will take to become a writer!😂

Desmond was the composer of the jazz standard "Take Five"- whose royalties he donated in perpetuity to the Red Cross.

Thanks, David. I knew he had written it, but not that he gave all the royalties from it to the Red Cross. Cheers!
