Very interesting! I would love to see the full review when it’s available.

I may be writing a book for the John Catt series, let’s see. My other two Ed books are with them - Hodder/Hachette. They do some interesting projects! Though I’m biased 😁

That would be great, they publish good titles. One of my books was with Hodder too 😁

Oh nice. We shall discuss over coffee soon 😁

Did you know they are changing their name to Hachette Learning? Good marketing πŸ˜‰

I didn't know that specifically, but when I receive royalty statements the letterhead says Hachette.

I look forward to it. The coffee, not the royalty statements!

Teachmanship! We are in a world of bestselling theories... Recently I had to deal with boys from 10 to 11 years-old boys to teach them chess. The act of sitting down for barely one hour was like preaching Zen Buddhism in an Ibiza's disco.

I think so, David. I found this on the internet:

Age UK Years US/International Grades

14 - 15 Year 10 9th Grade (Freshman)

15 - 16 Year 11 10th Grade (Sophomore)

16 - 17 Year 12 / Lower 6th 11th Grade (Junior)

17 - 18 Year 13 / Upper 6th 12th Grade (Senior)
