When I heard Me & Mrs Jones for the first time, I thought “that’s a great song, a classic in the making”, and I was right. Several decades later, it’s still a great song. It has great lyrics, a lovely arrangement, and a gorgeous saxophone. But above all, it’s a brilliant piece of flash fiction.
