Greetings!

My last ‘experiment in style’ used a literary technique called epistrophe. In this article I discuss this technique.

First, though, big apologies for this being a bit later than usual. This afternoon we came across this poor little creature — again.

She (we assume it’s a she) was hanging around outside our door the other day but ran off when she saw our cats. Today she was outside a neighbour’s house, looking bedraggled and hungry. Although she has a collar on, there’s no name or phone number on it.

I’ll say more about this adventure in my next Start The Week post on Monday.

But enough of this persiflage! Let’s talk about epistrophe.
