How to automatically date Word documents

A simple but very useful technique

If you often produce new versions of documents, and you use Word, here’s an easy way of ensuring that each version has, in effect, a date stamp. I don’t think what I’m about to show you is possible in the cut-down apps version of Word, but it certainly is in both the Windows and Mac full versions.
