One of my favourite poems is A Calvinist in Love, by Jack Clemo. I don’t pretend to understand it, or at least understand it very well, but I love the rhythm of it, and the feeling it evokes within me.
I first came across the poem in my 20s, in one of the books in the Penguin Modern Poets series.
